We make it our business to look at the DIY side of life. Outside Magazine typically makes it their business to focus on high-end, store-bought camping gear and outdoor equipment. We all agree that both are necessary, but Outside Mag recently stuck an arm over our side of the fence to offer some DIY “camping hacks” and the list is really good. You can check it out here.
If you’re curious about the temperature, you can use the car windshield reflector to gauge hot or cold. And for something to stand or sit on, look no further than the ground cover.
